SOIL TESTING – HOW TO COLLECT OUR SAMPLES
As part of our comprehensive testing offering, we always advise soil testing your sports turf, whether you are managing golf greens and fairways, stadium and training ground pitches, tennis courts or any other professionally managed grass sports turf facility.
What is Ana-Lync?
It is the most accurate, comprehensive and advanced soil evaluation in the world today! It combines many scientific disciplines which required the input and knowledge of multiple private, governmental and commercial organisations and professionals.
Water Testing
We recommend testing the irrigation water used to supplement natural rainfall, to keep a consistent moisture content in the growing medium, ranging from 20% to 25% in an ideal scenario.
Soil Mechanix
Soil Mechanix is an in-depth test of soil core samples to determine soil respiration, acidity, particle distribution, water holding, and gravimetric moisture content.
Tissue Testing
Tissue testing is the best way to get a close reading of what’s going on inside your turf thatch. Understanding exactly which nutrients the turf is getting plenty of, and which the turf is deficient in, enables us to put together a program which perfectly suits the requirements.
SAP Testing
A plant sap analysis (PS) measures the amount of plant nutrients present in the plant sap, almost like taking a snapshot of the plant at that specific moment.
Agronomy/Turf Grass Agronomy
The role of an agronomist is to support the head of grounds, Director of Golf or head greenkeeper and their teams, to gain maximum performance from their sports turf. The agronomist also works alongside architects, committees and can advise project managers or those supervising new grow-ins, as getting the best possible playing surface is a true team effort.
